Everyone kept saying what a beautiful day it was for Lindsey and Scott’s wedding, and they weren’t kidding.  The sun was out, the birds were singing, and everyone could feel the joy from this wonderful couple.  It was a fairy tale wedding at Greate Bay Country Club, to say the least.  Rev. Brian Jude Piatkowski presided over the couple.  There was a brilliant string duo, a releasing of butterflies, and of course a grand kiss.   During cocktail hour, the talented and well-established Jack Mazzeo took advantage of the beautiful scenery with his team of Jen and Kevin for bridal party photographs.  Once the portraits were taken, it was time to get the night started.  The party was led by the always upbeat DJ Bishop from DJ’s Available who brought in an equally upbeat bridal party.  Lindsey and Scott shared their first dance, were graced with two remarkable toasts, then shared the rest of the night with family and friends in joy, laughter, and happily ever after.  Lindsey and Scott, thank you so much for letting us capture your special day.  I had just as much fun as the rest of your guests, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!  Sincerely,  Jay Garrison

Probably one of the most creative couple we have ever had the pleasure of capturing, Courtney & Tim celebrated their wedding day in unique fashion.  The ceremony at St. Vincent Palloti Church was a most elegant occasion supported by a string quartet and numerous singers of exceptional talent.  It was the reception at Brigalia’s, though, where the creativity took a more prominent role.   Two days preceding Halloween, it was more than fitting to have the wedding party and guests fashion themselves to fit the theme of the Roaring 20′s.  From flappers to bootleggers, there was certainly a cast of characters in the crowd  that night.  The festivities therein were also beyond expectations.  There was a flash dance, ballroom dancers, and a first dance song specially sung by the siblings of Courtney & Tim.   Watch their Highlight now, and see for yourself!

The wedding of Toniann and Vince was a magical day filled with fun, laughter, and familiar faces.  It was almost one year ago when we had the honor of capturing Toniann’s sister Tiffany’s wedding.  Everyone was just as happy as last year, only now Toniann was the beautiful bride we had the honor of capturing. A fairy tale love story, Toniann and Vince first met when they were only kids.  They were each other’s first kiss back then, and now they kissed once again to sign their vows of love to one another.  Their ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammonton where many family and friends gathered to witness their nuptials.

Proceeding the ceremony, the wedding party hopped on The Great American Trolley to ride into Philadelphia.  I have to thank the photographer, Gerry Tomko, for taking them to such a quiet, yet beautiful location at The Rodin Museum.  The scenery was unique and very picturesque.  Once the formals were finished, we headed to Fishtown for the reception at Tendenza. My first time at this modern masterpiece, and I was very impressed.  The cocktail hour was one of the finest I have ever seen, with three levels for the guests to enjoy themselves.  Everyone may have gotten their fill on food and drink, but I’m not so sure about their senses because the party was a mind blowing experience which stimulated the eyes, ears, and soul.  Bob and Seth from Bob Morgan Entertainment kept the bass blasting and bodies moving throughout the course of the night.  Even when it was time to say goodbye, Toniann and Vince were surrounded by a crowd full of loved ones.  I must say, I felt like part of the crowd and was very grateful to share in the love of the day.  Toniann and Vince, thank you for having us capture such a fun-filled wedding for two wonderful people.  I wish you all the best!  Sincerely,  Jay Garrison

Today we wanted to pause and thank the 5 couples who have entrusted Alliance Video to capture the memories of their special day this weekend.  We consider it an absolute honor and privilege.  It is our hope that your day is everything you dream it will be or has been.  Yesterday, our company and I had the pleasure of working with a great couple, Kathleen & Charlie at Lucien’s Manor in Berlin.  Our Pinterest of the Day is a photo that our friend and DJ, Harold Peacock, (aka, DJ Bishop) took of Tom with Kathleen & Charlie at the end of the evening.  Such a fun couple!

Wow it’s Friday already. See what happens, it feels like you just blink and another weeks gone by! That’s progress. We keep chuggin’ along, and it’s our hope that you are enjoying the ride. It seems pretty fitting to end the week with a little look at wedding progress. Not so much individually, or how your planning is moving along, but how weddings themselves have progressed, changed, evolved. There are the easy things to pinpoint like trends in dresses and colors and styles. But what about the attitudes. Changes in traditions. It used to be pretty easy to tell when the bride was about to appear. You knew because the music was always the same. It seems safe to say that the move away from the expected bridal march music of yesteryear goes deeper than just a passing trend. Brides seem to have ever more freedom in what their wedding day will look like. For better or worse!

Ok, it’s honesty time. I woke up this morning not feeling well with a lot to do, and this blog was the last thing on my mind. After all, it’s just a little blog, less than a week old. Does it really matter if I miss a day? But as the day wore on it was nagging at me. How many times have I had a world of inspiration and tons of motivation and still let something slip through my fingers because I wasn’t willing to take any action. Well, not this time. I love writing, but excuses come all to easy. So I’m here, scraping for today’s theme, but willing to take action anyway. And you know what? I feel a little better.

As I watched the Knick’s, Jeremy Lin today accomplish yet another amazing feat, (scoring 28 points and 14 assists, beating the world champion Mav’s), I can’t help but think of all the things we too can achieve if we stayed confident, worked our tail off, maintained discipline and focus.

I’ll bet all of these people had plenty of inspiration and motivation, but if none of them took the first step where would they be?

On an unseasonable October afternoon, something far more extraordinary happened, Patrick Giordano and Nicole Puccio became husband and wife.  A perfect match who met in an unusual way, playing volleyball in 2004.  After Nikki’s unfortunate skiing accident in 2007, it became very clear Pat cared a great deal.  4 years later in February 2011, the day of their dating anniversary, Pat surprised Nikki by proposing at the beach in Ocean City, not on a ski sloop, which she thought.

On an appropriate day, with snow falling,  Nikki & Pat tied the knot.  Everything was perfect for this perfect couple!  No storm or trouble will keep them apart, only make them stronger.

As Nikki & Pat are enjoying sunny Hawaii, I hope you enjoy reliving this amazing day, with your Honeymoon Highlight.  I was honored to spend the day with you at the beautiful Mansion in Voorhees.  All the best to a great couple!  Tom

Aside from a cool couple, great family & friends, outstanding celebration…..what more can you say, when you get a surprise appearance from the one and only Frank Sinatra and the Phillies  Phanatic!  Unbelievable!!!  You guys pulled it off in incredible fashion!  Jay, Mike and I were honored to capture your unforgettable memories.

We began Alex & Marybeth’s video coverage on Thursday evening at their rehearsal at St. Christopher’s in NE Philly.  We grabbed some interesting and funny “1word to describe”  comments from the parents and bridal party.  Wait until you here this!

The next day began at Alex and Marybeth’s parents house.  After capturing these great moments, we were off to the ceremony.   The church was packed with people and emotion.  Loved the rally towels waving on your exit!  Nice touch!

The reception was non-stop entertainment at the Southampton Room in Philadelphia.  It was one crazy, fun party!  This Honeymoon Highlight only tells some of the story, but gives you a sense of how great the celebration was.

Marybeth & Alex, thank you so much for including us in your amazing day!  We were privileged to spend it with you!  I hope you are having a great time in Punta Cana!

The 1st of October was a stunningly beautiful day.  The sun was shining, the humidity was gone, and in Wildwood, New Jersey Krista and Owen exchanged wedding vows to become the new Mr. and Mrs. McGuire.  This fun-loving couple had a picture perfect ceremony at St. Ann’s Church where a multitude of guests got to see them walk down the aisle.  After the ceremony, Eric Bennett from Perfect Day Photography capitalized by getting photos around some of the landmarks in the area.  My favorite was Keenan’s Irish Pub where Krista and Owen first met.  Later in the evening, the reception unfolded at the Avalon Links Restaurant.  The guests certainly came to party, and it was not hard for them to do so with DJ Jimmy Mulholland behind the controls.  Everyone was having such a great time, including myself, that the night seemed to be over in the blink  of an eye.  No worries, though, Krista and Owen.  You now have these wedding day highlights to enjoy again and again.  May you two share a lifetime of happiness together.  Sincerely, Jay Garrison
