A Hero’s Welcome

A good client, Marine Cpl. Timothy Missel returned from Iraq to reunite with his beautiful wife, Samantha. A few hundred residents, family and friends gathered in Marlton NJ to welcome Tim home. Samantha and Tim were married on May 9, 2009 and a few weeks later Tim was deployed. Alliance Video was fortunate to work with the couple and produce their wedding video. Follow this link to view their trailer. The story appeared on the front page of this Sunday’s Burlington County Times. Click to read the article.

3D is coming

3D is coming to your home.  This summer, 3D Blu-ray players will begin to ship.  I’m not sure many of us plan to demolish our living-room to upgrade.   Here are some things you many want to know.  First, yes you will need to wear those dorky glasses.  Movies that you purchase in3D will be able to play in 2D on your current Blu-ray player and HDTV.   In order to watch movies in3D, you will need a 3D compatible HDTV.  Your existing TV does not have the display properties for the 3D Blu-ray spec.  All the major manufactures including, Sony, Panasonic, LG, Samsung, Vizio and Toshiba will begin shipping this year.  It is estimated by 2018, that 10 million people (3.6 percent) will be watching 3D in their homes.  Mobile phones will also be capable of playing 3D and will likely represent the largest shipment by 2018.  So what does this mean today?  For those interested in us producing your video in 3D, we are in no hurry to chunk over $21,000 for the new Panasonic camera due to arrive this fall.  Sony Playstation 3 is expected to play full 3D content pending future software upgrades.  When you eventually plan to replace your TV, you will be able to pick any type you want (LCD, plasma, OLED), since the 3D video encoding is not tied to any particular display property.  So there you have it, you will hear much more buzz in the months and years to come.

Julie & Andy (HD)

Fun-loving, outgoing, and a strong passion for one another, Julie and Andy were certainly a match made in heaven.  They had sparkles in their eyes on September 18, 2009, the day of their wedding.  It was summer’s end at Pine Hill Country Club, where Julie and Andy tied the knot, which meant majestic scenery would be provided by lush greens on the terrain and an orange glow in the sky.  Once dusk had settled, the party began with dynamic music and entertainment from the Dinardo Brothers DJ’s.  Eventually the celebration came to an end, but Julie and Andy’s love will live on forever.

Seneca Football

To celebrate Super Bowl Sunday, we added our first non-wedding related video. Alliance Video obviously specializes in wedding videography, but what you may not have known, AVP also creates sports highlight videos, corporate training videos, commercials, recruiting videos and many other special events. If you need any video service, I am sure we can assist you. I hope you enjoy the 2009 Seneca High School Football Highlight Video. Great music, hard hits, amazing runs and big plays. The Seneca Golden Eagles finished the season 8-3 and won the South Jersey Olympic Conference.
